The young Hufflepuff leaned out the window of the Astronomy tower, staring out at the grounds. They'd planned to meet here and actually get to talk. The alley and the train had just been too busy and the summer had been long. Too long.
Tapping his fingers against his cheek, he thought about the letters stashed in his trunk and looked down at the gift wrapped around his wrist.
Red sparks flew past Lorcan's head and out into the night. Lexi. Smiling, the boy turned around...
He woke up, then, and stared at the ceiling. Just a few more weeks.
