It had been impossible to quell Professor McGonagall. She had taken 20 points from Gryffindor fro the pants fandango, and extra five each for being out of bed, and had told Fred to “please buy some new underwear,” before removing them and handing them back to him, deciding to use a hovering charm rather than touch them herself.
This all, of course, had occurred only after they had been driven inside her office, shouted at for half an hour and called all manner of names from “insolent toads” to “idiotic children.”

Fred elbowed Lee in the ribs as they left.
