Then of course the annoying one spoke again and he barely cast a glance at him. "Yes legal aides. Do you have a law degree I am not aware of? By muggle definition a legal aide aids the lawyer. Since you are not a lawyer or established enough to be one..." He turned his eyes cooly toward Ben, "That makes you an aide. And you don't have enough Magical Law Enforcement skills either..so...I would watch that mouth of yours, Mr. Amsten, before I stick you on a desk and forget about you." He could tell him and this kid weren't going to get along at all.

Turning toward Blackstone he nodded and leaned back in his chair, "So...what's happened?"

Aveira blushed angrily and frowned, but all the same she did not speak a word out of place and sat down as requested, taking the chair closest to the door. Tilting it so she would be able to see if anyone came in out of the corner of her eye, she regarded who she assumed to be her boss, and bossy he was. Oh, how she utterly loathed people...

"Aveira Celeste Lovecraft, first day," she murmured. "I saw the note and assumed, by the otherwise emptiness of the offices, that I should attend also." Aveira paused. He didn't seem to want her here. But oh, she'd be happy to leave. "If it is not so, I'll take my leave, sir."
