Oh goodness. The girl had never drank tea before? Madison smiled, pouring Ingrid a cup, hoping that she would like it. She placed a couple of sugar cubes on the plate that held the cup, then turned to hand it to her guest.
"Not sure if you will like it with or without sugar. And if you would like to try cream, I have it here." She picked up a small silver container and positioned it so that Ingrid could see what it looked like, then poured a tiny bit into her own cup, stirred and turned towards her desk.
"My husband loves tea, which this is his favorite brand, mine too of course." She took a sip and placed her cup back on the platter.
"I would like to thank you for taking the position as Division Head over Apparitions, Ingrid." She got comfortable in her chair with a smile on her face. "Your background information was exactly what we were looking for."
Oh great why had she admitted to Madison that she had never in her life had tea before the older woman must think that she was quite weird. Taking the cup of tea Ingrid took a big sip. Tasting it she said "I quite like it. I may though put in some cream to see if i like it more. I think i need to experiment a little to see what i favour."
Putting her own cup down on the platter Ingrid smiled at Madison saying "Oh, thank you! Apparition has always held a special place in my heart ever since I apparated for the first time without splinshing anything."
Ingrid could clearly picture in her head that day now several years back when her father had hugged her and told her that she had passed the test. Getting back to reality she heard how Madison said that her background was exactly what they had been looking for. Blushing a little Ingrid replied "I'm glad. But my background isn't that interesting...I haven't done anything special."
