Chris just watched the girl as the girl started walking away. Great. He would be alone again and free to talk about things and stuffs. He glanced around if anybody was with him, and he found nobody but him and the girl who was walking away. He shuddered for the thought that the girl was expecting that he would call her back and eventually, he would do 'cause the girl had left her broken shoes. He picked up the girl's shoes and ran toward the girl. As he reached her, he's said,
"Your shoes. You'd left them." And for the first time Chris smiled to her so broadly and sweetly and it might thaw the girl's eyes.
