Anxious Pacing

Neville was pacing his office, staring at the clock obsessively until the time came for him to go home. How could Hannah break news like that to him over breakfast? Surely she knew that would be bugging him all day!

There was a knock on the door, and Terry Boot, newly appointed Charms professor, entered. “Neville, are you alright? You look terrible!”

Neville sighed and shook his head. “Nothing, it’s just… Hannah told me today that she’s pregnant.”

Terry grinned. “Really mate? Congrats!”

Neville chuckled awkwardly and nodded before walking over to the door and shutting it in his face.

Authors Note: Ummmm, since we never found out if they had any kids I'm taking some creative liberty here
