It's not that far of a walk," she said, raising her wand and levitating his bag so he wouldn't have to drag it around.

"Besides, I don't think Mum and your Uncle Ben really mind. I think they're...happy to be around the other families." She frowned slightly and gave her husband a disappointed look. He'd have to get used to families, seeing as he had two children on the way. "Even I can stand the walk..." She wasn't really irritated with Cale, though. Since at fifteen, he'd been her very best friend---and now he was her husband.

She nodded towards Cale's Uncle Ben. Despite the fact that Cale's complaining was annoying her to the moon and back, Anna couldn't imagine being here without him. "I'm sure, I'm sure. I sort of have to have him around, you know. For better or for worse...'Til death do us part, etc., etc.," she quoted. Oops. Maybe that was the wrong thing to say to Ben Cobblesten. Way to kill the happy mood, Anna.

Bella had walking along, happily enjoying the family's playful banter, when she heard Anna quote a lines from the traditional wedding vows. She knew her daughter meant well and truly wasn't thinking of Ben's divorce when she chose those words, but it still didn't stop Bella from giving her daughter a certain look. Maybe Ben wouldn't really make the connection. Or maybe he just didn't hear Anna. That was possible...one could hope.

"Anna Bella," she whispered, her eyes flickering from the ground towards her one and only child. Well, for now, that is. The twins would be here soon enough---Bella's set and Anna's set. This was one downfall to being a thirty-something year old mother to an nineteen-year-old daughter. Two sets of twins at once time was nearly enough to drive Alexander Greingoth and Cale Newell into an early grave.
Luckily Ben was completely oblivious to the remark Anna had just made...his mind was off somewhere else. He needed to pitch this tent! Normally he would have just taken a sly look around to make sure no muggles were around, but seeing as how this was a MINISTRY event and he was a MINISTRY employee, it would be just plain stupid for him to whip out his wand at the moment.

"Alrighty, let's get down to business! We have to pitch these tents the old fashioned way!" he said happily, dumping the contents of the tent onto the ground and picking up one of the stakes and examining it. "Come on Cale, let's get a move on! Not YOU Bella and Anna!"

Cale sighed. He should have known that HE would be the one setting up the tent with Ben. After all, they couldn't expect the women to help with that in their current condition, could they? He smiled and kissed Anna on the cheek. "Don't worry, I don't think he caught your little slip," he said with a smile. Even if he had, he was sure that Ben had gotten over that by now--right? It had been almost 6 months since the divorce had been finalized and knowing his Uncle Ben, he had bounced right back immediately. Erm...right?
