Looking up at Lili through tired eyes, Becca listened and then beamed when Lili introduced Skye. Looking at Brian fondly as she heard Skye's middle name, Becca felt a rush of proudness. Lili very carefully moved the baby in her arms so that she could hand him to Becca, he was just so tiny, and she found herself still a little afraid of holding him, or moving him to fast. With Skye now cradled in her arms she bent down a little to carefully give him to Becca.
As soon as he was safely in her arms, she tucked the blanket back around him, and then stepped back slightly, leaning up against Iain. She raised herself up on her toes and kissed him lightly on the cheek before wrapping her arm around him and saying, "he really is beautiful isn't he?" with her voice
full of pride.
