Marcus in an extremely complicated way, and Ethan who she didn't worry she would never see again so much as she was sad she would never see again with any frequency. I've never met an Avalon that wasn't an utter drama queen, but that one takes it to the point of histronics. And she was allegedly a Ravenclaw. Hrmph. Marcus was getting married in the summer and if the old man thought that he was going to cut his honeymoon short just so that he could have a meeting with him, that was clearly going to result in arguments then the old man had lost his marbles.

At the dias, Copernicus let go of Cela's hand and stepped to Denton's side. Was it rude not to address the Headmaster in this situation? Perhaps, but he had nothing to say to the man. It was within his rights to do as he wanted with the staff, and Copernicus had long forgiven him for forcing him to spy. He was here for Truebridge, so that's who he addressed.
