Evelyn suddenly turned towards Josh, surprised by his tone. Dying to see Jake? What? She knew that she was sorta leaving him out, but again she didn't want 'whoever was watching' to think anything other than that they were friends. It killed her to have to do that, but she was going to have to act like this until she herself could handle her parents or she moved out to somewhere else. Ugh, stupid complicated life.
"Jake? Really?" Evelyn shook her head, throwing a fake smile quickly on. "No, definitely not dying to see Jake." Quite the opposite. 'Hope he landed in the crazy ward in St. Mungos.' she thought, smiling at the happy thought. Maybe he wouldn't return next year too.
"Evelyn, the owl will be just fine" Jason told her.
"Did I ever tell you that my cousin Excelscior Black will be there too and he is a pureblood slytherin" Jason explained to Evelyn. Jason remember when he met Evelyn, she was cool but now she has a problem with him because of his house possibly or him being a half-muggle. Interesting change. Jason thought all thos things to himself.
