Watching Iain with a smile, Becca looked down at her stomach and said nothing as he rubbed her stomach gently. Uncle Iain. He was like family to her, and so to the baby too. Shaking her head at Iain, Becca grinned "She wont sit down for long, trust me. The only reason I'm sat down is cause it's the only way he'll let me stay here" she smiled, looking at Brian and Iain.
"Well, then you wouldn't be allowed to be here and you'd have to go home" Becca shook her head, playing along with the teasing and then nodded "Not yet anyway" she said so only he could hear. When she saw his fond smile, she smiled back at him until he spoke again.
Feeling all colour disappear from her cheeks at his suggestion, she shook her head and looked down. Never. During this whole thing, she would be by his side. No matter what. Not saying a word, she looked down at her feet and closed her eyes, trying not to remember the dreams. Shifting slightly whilst opening her eyes again and then leaning right back on the chair, she looked away from Brian, not wanting to hear another of his suggestions that meant her leaving him.
He grinned but it was gone by the second he noticed her face. All her enthusiasm and teasings seems gone.
God. This's not good. Brian knelt down beside her and took her hand in his, as he spoke, "Love? See, you dont have to go, if you dont want to go. Stay with me.." he nodded his head with a calm smile. He was not going to do and say anything that would hurt her. "But dont do this to me, look at me" he squeezed her hand, almost begging.
