Running up the stairs to the owlery he stopped in the doorway and leaned against the wall with a sigh. Sliding down it until he hit the floor. This was not how things were supposed to end this term. Pulling out his piece of parchment and a quill in his pocket that he kept on hand he dipped it in the ink and held it to the parchment.

Why did Fia do this? Why?! He thought he and Fia had been over this. Brody was his friend nothing more. She'd always been his friend. And since Fia and him got together her jealousy grew more...for what reason he didn't know. He'd seen no one over the last few months. Choosing instead when he couldn't find Fia to spend his time reading or studying. He hadn't even seen Brody until yesterday. Looking down at the parchment he crossed out what he had written.

Looking down at the brief and pointed sentence he hung his head and crumpled it up throwing it onto the floor. His eyes caught site of the watch on his wrist and he took it off. And threw it with the paper, hearing the face crack on the watch and burying his head in his arms feeling very much alone.
