Apology accepted? Well now wasn't that a relief! LouAnn had prepared herself for the absolute worst---expulsion, a letter home to her parents, or a hundred or so house points docked. Sure detention was horrible, but at least she was going to be allowed to come back to Hogwarts next term...even though Tuesday's would be a little rough on her.
Detentions would be with the Defense professor, too. LouAnn wondered why Kazi didn't want to hold the detentions himself, but she didn't speak up and ask. She'd much rather serve detentions with Lawson than Kazimeriz anyway. The potions professor was
scary! LouAnn was grateful that her apology was accepted, though, so she smiled and nodded in reply.
"Right. Each Tuesday in detention," she responded. "I'll be there." Of course she would. Did she even have another choice? She also loved the way he ended his "you have detention" speech by telling her to enjoy the break. "Thanks, professor. You have a nice one, as well." With that, she headed back towards Mr. Masterson, a defeated look on her face. "I have a ton of detentions," she mumbled to him.
