But when had Callie ever thought about being nice to someone?
"Its Callie" she stated quickly as the girl started talking about why she liked dust. Callie was hoping this girl was joking, but by the way she dressed probably not.
Then girl finally noticed Callie was caring about dust she changed subject to something even more ridiculous. "Why yes I am. You havn't seen a little green monster running around cause it's trying to eat me."
LouAnn eyed the girl, realizing that...maybe, just maybe...she was being more sarcastic than serious. Perhaps the girl was just embarrassed that LouAnn had caught her in the act of leaving a trail of dust all the way down the second floor corridor. Or maybe the girl really was as snappy as she sounded right now. When she mentioned a green monster, LouAnn sort of frowned, crossed her arms over her chest, then leaned against the wall.
"Excuse me for asking," she half-mumbled. Apparently the girl just didn't want to be bothered. LouAnn would spare her the "agony" and just move on. Besides, she had things to do and people to see anyway. "Umm...okay, look. I'll just...see you around. Good luck with your little green monster." She gently pushed herself off the wall and started to head away.
