The Ministry of Magic is proud to announce that the four hundred and forty-first
Quidditch World Cup, hosted by our very own Ministry, and being held at the North York Moors is now allowing wizards and witches of all ages to check in for this amazing event between two phenomenal teams - Australia vs. England!
Whether you choose to arrive by portkey or apparition, by broom or on foot (or via the special Floo network for those who are considered VIP), be sure that you DO arrive for this guaranteed-to-be-thrilling, going-to-make-your-eyes-pop-and-your-heart-stop event! Oh, and bring some identification or you'll be detained by Security. And then you'll miss all the action!
But if you wish to step foot on the North York Moors during this event, be sure to have your World Cup tickets in hand. Whether they be
lower level,
upper level, or
top box, you must have your ticket! Oh, and remember to bring your
tents, which should appear from the outside to resemble a normal standard muggle tent. (Please note that excessive use of magic in such a way that clearly exposes our population to the Muggle world will result in severe fines and may be cause for removal from the Quidditch World Cup stadium and grounds.)
Once you've been cleared by security and have set up your tent, take a stroll over to
vendor row and purchase your Quidditch World Cup memorabilia in support of your favorite team!
OOC: This RPG event is hosting by the Ministry of Magic RPG. As such, in order to RP there, you must be a Ministry of Magic, Diagon Alley, or Daily Prophet employee. If you are not an employee yet, but would like to join to both take part in the Cup and fun RP opportunities in the Ministry, please apply in the Employment Office on Level Eight of the Ministry of Magic.
We are allowing all members to RP TWO characters at this event - a student character and a Ministry/DA/DP character, if you are involved in both RPGs. If you are not sorted but are a member of the Ministry, you may RP that Ministry character ONLY. Please abide by this request.
