Swimming back to the surface with eyes slightly wider than usual, she waited again for him to join her. "Now who's the one cheating?," she asked, the teasing quality slowly coming back into her voice.

Phoebus laughed quite heartily as Adrienne let out a very girl noise of surprise. It made him...weirdly happy to know he'd gotten her. He swam back up after letting her go and when she spoke upon breaking the surface again, he chuckled at her. " I'm not cheating." He said, paddling a bit in the water. " I'm just...improvising." He told her." Best friend in Slytherin, or did you forget?" He teased her a bit as he swam around her and splashed her a few times. He kept thinking about how sometimes it was pretty cool just hanging out with Adrienne, no Chloe or Riley around. It was sort of...easier. Less complicated.

This was definitely an affair of sorts. Issy remained at the edge of the pool, watching everyone. Some had changed into swiming suits and some swam in their Hogwarts uniforms. She merely watched. Phoebus spotted Issy sitting alone by the side of the pool and usually, he would've let her do her own thing. Usually. But the spirit of the pool in the common room situation had gotten to him. He was reasonably close to her and he sent some water her way, laughing a little as hedid. Then he promptly swam back away, not too keen on receiving any retaliation. But he'd be back to splash more...oh yes.
