"Sooo...You wanna drink it first?" she asked, a small innocent smile playing on her lips. Not that she herself didn't want to drink it first, it's just...Okay, yea well she didn't. She wasn't paying attention the whole time the potion was being made and she didn't know if there was anything extra Destiny added or someone flung in their while anyone else was looking. Not that she didn't trust Destiny... She did! 'Course she did!
Buuut, just that little habit that was bugging her in the back of her mind was having the alarm bells go off. So maaybbee Evelyn was a little paranoid at the moment. Potions class, poisoning, anger, amusement, boredom, scales, boils...was just too much at the moment. "Since you had the boils longer than I have I mean. It's only fair."
Hmm, did she want to drink it first? No! She had tasted it before and knew how horrible it was. She couldn't get the taste out of her mouth no matter how many gallons of pumpkin juice she had. Horrible. Maybe there was an ingredient that made potions taste better, like peppermint. But it might make something else happen to them, sooo she didn't want to try that. Not on themselves anyway..
The boils weren't going away any time soon, not until they took the potion.
'I've only had my boils like five minutes before you.' That might be the wierdest thing Destiny ever said. But they do have six more terms to go.
Destiny poured herself a phile of the potion.
'Yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck.' she said as she raised the phile up to her mouth. Then taking one last breath and holding her nose, Destiny drank the potion. Did it work? Of course it did! Destiny was like an expert potioneer, at boil solutions anyway. The boils started to disappear and the pain subsided.
'Right. Now its your turn. And I need something to drink.'
