Tibi sat sheepishly in his seat, not daring to look up as Kazimeriz "requested" his presence after class. He was dead. He was so. super. dead.

And he wasn't even sure why he'd done it.

Eyes, swimming, he looked down at his hands. Still red. And now, they were a little puffy, too. So, diagnose the symptoms, lil Tibi. Red. Red can be associated with inflammation. Oh, right, puffy. But also with anger. Heh. Right. Anger. His mind was swirling. He didn't know what was in a color-changing potion or if he should be going with literal or metaphoric explanations for red. But what he did know is that he wanted to get out before anyone could get him. Everyone was going to hate him.

Everyone.

He started laying out ingredients he could think of, working silently and sadly.

He laid out ingredients that were neutral in color, first. White grapes. Milk. Lemon juice. Maybe those would help. Then things that were calming. Chamomile. Ginger root. Hellebore. Finally, he set out some daisy root to try address the swelling.

Staring at the ingredients for a bit, and flipping through his text, Tibi shrugged, deciding to just use it all. If it didn't work, it didn't work. His future at Hogwarts was kaput, anyway.

He began by measuring out a half-cup of lemon juice, and heating it until it began to bubble. While that happened, he delicately skinned each of the three grapes, before crushing them between his fingers, and then dropping the smushed fruit into the cauldron.

Chopping up both the chamomile (four leaves) and the daisy root (two bunches) finely, he added them one at a time, giving the potion an opportunity to boil in between each addition.

Letting the potion simmer, Tibi crushed the one bunch of hellebore with his mortar and pestal. He wasn't particularly concerned that it might be dangerous. He was a sad, doomed little boy, anyway. Someone had messed with his head again. He just knew it. And he was going to go to Kazi, and that would be the end of him.

Adding the hellebore, along with a small phial of milk, Tibi stirred the potion counterclockwise four times, letting it then return to a boil.

Finally, he thinly sliced an entire ginger root, adding the pieces slowly to the potion, before letting it boil once more, and then simmer, the potion turning a wonderful shade of human!pink. It was Tibi colored.

He just hoped it would work.

Scrawling down his work on a piece of parchment, Tiberius kept his eyes downcast. He wouldn't dare drink until Kazi gave the say-so.
