Double checking himself in the boys dormitory mirror, Blake raced towards the Owlery hoping to be there before her. Ugh, he still had to write the letter.
He dashed into the Owlery and frowned. Nikki was already there and her owl was hovering above her. Turning his frown into a warm smile, Blake whistled and called out his baby scops owl, Punky. Yawning, he sneaked behind Nikki and leaned towards her ear, "Morning.." Nikki was watching Brownie soar above her. She didn't even notice the sound of footsteps coming up behind her.
"AHH!" She screamed turning around, taking her wand out. She looked at Blake, frowning.
"Don't do that! You almost gave me a heart attack." She said chuckling. She put her wand away. He wanted to look at her letter? Why?
"Why?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
Brownie flew down next to her. Nikki took out a bag of treats and pulled one out, handing it over to Brownie. Brownie refused to do anything before she was given a treat. Stupid owl...
