"Well, there's Kat, she's my best friend. And then there's...." Here she coughed, and continued, "Rafe. He's also a...friend, " She managed to say, while hoping this was still true. She was trying not to think about him at the moment.

"The three of us usually hang out together a lot, but lately, we've been...busy I guess. So we don't hang out as much, but I still them separately. Who else...Oh yes, there's Alexandra and Lorcan, they're a couple, real cute. And Ella, Nate, Torin, Warren, and the list goes on and on..." Lucy said with a laugh. She had never stopped to think about how many friends she had. It was a comforting thought.

"Who do you hang out with?" She asked Mikaela in return, rummaging in her drawer yet again for some Bertie Bott's Every Flavor Jelly Beans. This girl LOVED candy and chocolate. Yet her teeth were perfect. Weird, right?
