OOC: DuckE, your character is not in the office. In one of the earlier posts, Madison has asked your character to wait outside. If you could edit accordingly, that would be fantastic. =) So, she's heard none of this conversation.

Chad sighed and looked down at the cup in his hands, swirling the contents around gently. After a few seconds, he looked back up and around her office, allowing the silence between them to linger a bit. He took a sip, his eyes finally moving back to her. Honestly, he had nothing else to say. All he had was a simple request, one that had been going along so well, so far.

"Forget it then," he said finally. "If you feel opposed to my request, then who am I to force it upon you? I apologize for taking up your time...and thank you for the tea." He stood up and extended his hand for her to shake. "Oh, and can you perhaps let your husband know to keep his eyes open for the werewolf? We still haven't managed to find him yet.

"Have a good day," he smiled, turning around and heading towards her office. "Oh, and congratulations on your new position." With that, he opened the office door again and spotted the employee standing outside. "Oh, she is all yours now. Sorry for cutting in." And off he went, back to the forth floor.
