Typical Anastasia has to know everything that is going on with everyone else. Marcus, didn't bother to try and get the letter back off her. It was what she wanted and he'd many years of her games. "Seriously Annie, you should be working at the Daily Prophet. Your nosiness is wasted here."
It would be so easy to summons the letter back to him with a mere flick of his wand that was now in his hand but she seemed so intent on knowing what his news was, he decided to give her just what she wanted. Like he always did.
"I was merely informing my family, that I am getting married."
