"I will miss you, always," Rafe said as her nose graced his jaw. He couldn't take it. It was just too painful. "It's time," he said quietly as he let her go. He turned around abruptly and took off down the opposite direction in a slight jog. He just had to get away, he knew what he would have to do. He only hoped she would understand in the end.
