Rafe let his fingers thread through her blonde locks. His arms made their way down to wrap around her tiny waist and he lifted her slightly off the ground, so they could meet just right. It was as though she was Guinevere coming to her Lancelot. He took in a breath and breathed in Marilyn. His lips lingered on hers and he tenderly kissed her. He tentatively tilted his head, continuing to lightly press his lips against hers.

He slowly parted, just to take it in, to look at her. It was as though it was a dream. He opened his eyes and looked devotedly at her. He let her feet meet the ground, with his arms still wrapped around her. He pressed his forehead on top of her, "What now?" he whispered as a genuine smile stretched across his face.
