Not like Jake could talk. But Reese wasn't Jake. She was Jake's sister. And that meant Jake would have to talk to Jack about this.
The boy watched as Reese seemed to consider things, and he tilted his own head. For some reason, he wanted Reese to understand that this was what was best for everyone. Yeah, he probably wouldn't get to see Dale again... not that much if at all... but... the attention. "We dddddo get along," he nodded, eyes begging Reese to understand that.
He nodded when his sister spoke, not really commenting... not wanting to point the finger at anyone or badmouth anyone at all.
"We ssshhhould do that," he answered quietly, and added silently. As long as I'm not, like, grounded or anything.
Well, he HAD got up to mischief that year.
"Mmmhmm." Reese just looked at her brother. She knew something was fine with him, but she wasn't going to keep asking. If he wanted to tell, he would have told her already. Sighing, she looked around the area and that's when it hit her where they were exactly standing at. As much room that there was in this place, she was standing in the place Helios was. Why hadn't she known this earlier? Eh, she was slow.
She tried her best to not let her facial expression show how much it effected her as to where they were standing right now. "That's good," she simply replied back to her brother, and then she looked back at him. "Jake, I'm going to let you know this. I'm not mad about you living with a foster mom. I can never be mad about something like that. Upset, yes, but never mad. And, I want you to do what you think is best, and if you think living with a foster parent, then I'll support that decision." She paused, and then quickly added, "I do love you, Jake. You'll always be my little brother, even though we do fight at times." A little smile formed on her face as she thought back to times were her and Jakers didn't get along AT ALL.
"We will," she stated. "I promise."
