Lexi simply screeched something like gibberish she was so darn frustrated with the boy. She let more tears slide down her cheeks as he walked away.

Rafe asked. He didn't really like that Lexi had called Lorcan a momma's boy. Rafe could totally relate, it was only him and his mum. Maybe if he could get them to focus and remember why they are friends to bring them together once more.
Lorcan was aware of Rafe speaking, but he only really heard that Rafe thought he and Lexi were friends. "She's not my friend, she's every thing I - " he couldn't continue. He scrambled around on the floor for the other beads. Stuffing them into his pockets, he stood up and started to walk away. He couldn't look at her anymore, it hurt too much.
Rafe patted Lexi on the shoulder. "It doesn't have to be this way. I'm sure whatever problems you have, you two can get through it. Friendship is a bond that should never be broken."
Lexi shrugged out from under Rafe's hand and turned to say, "
No offense but I think I'd rather not talk about this right now. I am going to go down by the lake and hang out for a bit. Sorry again if I offended you. You are really a nice guy, Rafe." She then gave Rafe a quick friendly hug and dashed off in the opposite direction of Lorcan.
