Tibi's chest rose and fell rapidly, his heart racing, but for reasons entirely other than the ones he was saying. "I'm sorry I jumped on you. But Kazi can do it! Please stay with me!"

Tibi blinked, letting a few tears fall, and stuck out his bottom lip. "I'm scared."

And he was NOT moving from in front of that door.
