Hermione left Harry standing alone outside of the room Fred and George were in. She went to her bedroom and started to think about what they were planning to do with the dark mark. The only thing that she could think of was that they were wanting to become spies for the Order and pretend to be death eaters for a time. But that wasn't really a one-time deal...
Hermione flopped onto the bed and closed her eyes, trying to think some more. Within moments she had drifted off to sleep.
Harry watched Hermione leave without a goodbye and turned toward the stairs, thinking he would find Ginny. He went into the kitchen, hoping to find her there, and he did. However, she was in the company of Elizabeth. He backed out of the doorway, trying not to be noticed.
