"I remember you there outside the office... I rrrrrrrran away fffrom Kaz... I haven't gone back to talk to him."
The reassurance from Kapoor meant that Jake felt more comfortable in talking about the rest. "Anyone who was at the deathday party heard Myrtle telling the world that I murdered someone," Jake sniffed, his voice breaking up in his upset. "I just... dunno what to do."
Jake was going a bit too fast for Kapoor, who was still under the impression that this all was just a dream...with very vivid details.
"
Well, I suppose I could see where he got confused. You seem to remember a lot of details from it and many of those details have also occurred in real life." He almost sympathized with Kazimeriz's paranoid caution.
"
You seem also to be greatly affected by all this, too. Clearly, this must've been a very vivid dream." He said, unable to hide a certain semi-unconvinced tone as he uttered the word
'dream'. "
Tell me, Jake. Did this dream seem so real to you that you told others only to have it all be misconstrued?" He asked, trying to piece the fragmented, unsequential bits of the story together.
