Alex sighed, she wasn't sure if she could actually believe what Warren was saying, and she did not want to get her hopes up. "Connected? Really? By something other than our lips?" Alex asked as she shook her head a little. "He loves me?" She shook her head again. "I don't think so. Not at all." She patted Warren on the shoulder, "I really appreciate what you are trying to do here. But Torin Kane has made things very clear. Him and I were not meant to be."
