With one, sharp nod, LouAnn agreed to add the two drams of lovage pollen to the mixture. "You're really good at this, aren't you? Are you considering a career in potions?" she asked, as she took the drams of pollen and tilted them towards the mixture. She studied the pollen carefully as she let it fall into the cauldron.
Slowly....slowly, LouAnn. "I think you'd be good at it. You seem to really know your stuff."
What color was she supposed to look for again? Yellow? Gold? Light gold, that was it! Cope was supposed to stir, thank Merlin. He'd probably be the first one to notice a shade of light gold anyway.
