Ginny finished stomping down the stairs and had the sense to walk more quietly past Mrs. Black's portrait. Once past it, she hurried into the kitchen, but stopped short upon seeing Elizabeth. Ginny wondered if she should just back out slowly or attempt to say something. Nothing seemed fitting.
