Jake had to admit he agreed alot with the first paragraph, and some parts made him snort with laughter. Regaining composure, Jake inked up his quill and got to analysing.

I really am moving out from the old and into the new. I don't suck my thumb anymore so much and I see things and react to different situations better than I used to. I'm definitely growing up, personally as well as physically.
From what the book says, I have to not sit back and wait for things to happen, but jump at the chance to move on and reach my goals. Focus and discipline... yeah... need those. But shhhhhh, I didn't admit anything.
