She’s one of the nicest professors in the school.” After all, she had given Daisy a replacement cage for Houdini, her grasshopper mouse.
“Funny you should mention him,” Daisy muttered as she unrolled the Prophet in her hand and scanned the pages. She hadn’t had a chance to really look at it since she retrieved it from the stubborn delivery owl up in the owlry but there had been one article that she had been dying to share with Vivianne. “I missed you at the midnight creatures class…the mooncalves were amazingly agile.” Which reminded her, she still needed to deliver her jar of mooncalf poo to Professor Bunbury…she was probably overdue for the delivery as a matter of fact…
She flipped the paper to the middle and then flicked an article with her finger, now-empty entrance hall with a sharp “snap!” sound. “Here – first news I heard about Professor Forester since the welcome feast.”
Daisy handed over the Prophet to Vivianne and then watched as a Clawder-head started putting up some flyers in the Entrance Hall. Although these flyers looked different from the last couple she had come across, there was something strikingly familiar about them.
“Hey!” Daisy called out, leaving Vivianne with her copy of the Prophet. “What do you think you’re doing?!” If there was one thing, Daisy didn’t like, it was people that were so – narrow-minded and the more she saw the posters, the more upset she got about them.
Perhaps Daisy was right... the professor was new and so he'd never be able to familiarize himself with all the staffs easily. But still, She's one of the coolest there...
As Daisy unrolled the Daily prophet,
"what's with that?" She peered over the wizard magazine.
Still peering at the paper she spoke, "I might have been out somewhere," and she chuckled.
"I wasn't actually there... Sad to say. I was a little bit ill during the class." She had been having colds but glad to say it was all gone now.
"Although i'm sad i missed that class. Oh..."
It seemed like Daisy found the article she had been looking for all over the magazine.
"Professor Forrester?" she repeated.
"Where?" she eagerly read the prophet. Vivianne didn't seem to mind when Daisy left her with the newspaper to read and just heard her ask someone what was she doing...
"Talking to me?" She got distracted that she looked at her best friend but was wrong when she saw posters being pasted into the wall.
"Werewolves...." she murmured as she read the posters instead of the daily Prophet she was handed.. She wasn't surprised at all but who'd make such things? She saw a Slytherin girl burn down the posters into ashes.
