But moving on... "I figure that we could team up and then Hufflepuff sorta steal the first place from Ravenclaw. But you guys would still luck out. 'cause second place is always better than forth, right?" Still glancing sideways at Torin as he stood watching the hourglasses, it took all Adrienne's self-control not to do something to try and get attention back on her. But she managed to resist everything except for quietly tapping her booted foot on the ground as she waited for him to respond. And once he did, she grinned. "You really think Ravenclaw would let Hufflepuff simply steal first place from them. We already have to deal with it in Quidditch, we're not letting the House Cup away from us that easily," she teased. It bothered her a little that the best they were going to be able to do in Quidditch this term was third. But at least they could have a little more control over this.
And since she still had her ability loosely connected to his thoughts, she heard his musing over Livvy, and muffled a giggle. She knew Livvy thought something about her, and that was amusing. A Seer, really? No way.
Finally tiring of staring at sapphires, she turned to fully look at Torin, and arched an eyebrow as she had to muffle another snicker. "Um, Torin, you are aware that's not exactly appropriate school attire, right?," she drawled, internally cracking up at how much she thought she sounded like Dominic right there. Even though obviously, since he played Quidditch and all, it wasn't exactly hard to look at Torin the way he was dressed currently. If only it hadn't been Torin, cause that was almost like her thinking her brother was attractive. Which was just wrong in a milion ways.
