That's all she was saying about him. Quote:

He liked to be straightforward anyway and he was going to do it again as he heard Destiny commenting about the newly coming player. ''A git?'' he repeated ''Sounds interesting. Let's check then. If you excuse me''. He quickly snatched Destiny's notebook and pen, tore up a page for himself and scribbled something on it handing them back to her. ''Thank you. I'll be back. Just watch''
Evelyn listened as the two spoke, argued, disagreed...whatever you want to call it. But she was thoroughly amused when Destiny said 'Quinn could find his bottom'. Actually, she started snickering when she heard that, trying to hide it behind her hand and pretending to cough instead. She didn't think Kip was what Josh was describing professional quidditch players to be like, but that was just her opinion, and of course she decided not to voice it.
She was brought out of thought though when she heard Josh say he would be right back. "Where is he going?" she asked Destiny, watching him go off towards...Colin Mackenzie? When did he get here? And...and Drake Warren! 'I reaaaally need to pay attention to my surroundings!' She wasn't really a big fan of them though. She was, is, a fan, but not like she was a fan of Kip Norwood. *hehe* Quote:

It wasn't that she didn't want to be here today, for she did...she really, really did. She'd just had sort of a rough morning. It all began when she'd gotten out on the wrong side of the bed this morning---literally---and walked head first into a rather hard wall. It'd taken her two coats of foundation to cover up the bruise that had already formed underneath her left eye.
Then, as if the day couldn't get any worse, she'd broken the heel off one one of her shoes just as she'd made her way down the front steps of her house...on her way to Hogwarts, of course. It'd taken her a good fifteen minutes to locate another pair, causing her to be incredibly late...or so she thought. Scanning the tent, she saw that Kip, Emma, and Quinn were already there. As far as she could tell, the others hadn't arrived. Ohh, well...hmm. Maybe she wasn't doing so bad on time after all. Spotting Kizzie again though, she tugged on Destiny's arm to come with her. 'Ugh, I'm such a chicken. Can't even talk to somebody alone... Okay. I can totally do this without making a fool out of myself. Maybe...hopefully...' Taking a deep breathe, she walked up to the Chaser and waited her turn since there was already a little group around her. 'Can tooootaaallly do this.' she thought, trying to make herself confident while fiddling with the picture in her hands. "Hello-" Woah, her voice was WAY too high. Clearing her throat, Evelyn started again, slightly blushing from embarrassment. "Hello Kizzie. I just wanted to say...that you're one of my favorite players! I'm a big fan of the Holyhead Harpies." she said, well more blurted out. 'Way to stay calm Ev.' Taking another deep breathe to calm herself down before she fainted or something, not that she would, she continued on though in a calmer tone. "I was wondering, if I could get your autograph?" she asked, holding her notebook and pen in one hand and keeping the picture she created behind her. So far so good. |
