"My darling, my love...you flatter me so, I am a mere peasant in your presence and you are a goddess worthy of being worshiped!" Rafe kissed her hand. "You are like a queen and I a mere pauper. Am I not worthy of your love?"
Lucy stared at him for a couple of seconds before deciding what to do. She decided to play along.
"Rafe, you can be worthy of my love if you stop talking like that!" She hissed a little too loudly, and then thought she was being mean.
"I mean, of course you're worthy!" Lucy looked at him and really felt bad, but this was kind of fun. He really like her. But it was only temporary.
She smiled at him again and held onto his hand.
"How about we can hold hands and you can sit back in your chair?" Lucy suggested with a nod, hoping he got the message.
