Rafe took a deep breath with his eyes closed and then he opened them and right before him was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. It was his love, his soul mate, his beloved. "Oh Lucy, oh My Love! When I look on you a moment, then I can speak no more, but my tongue falls silent, and at once a delicate flame courses beneath my skin, and with my eyes I see nothing, and my ears hum, and a wet sweat bathes me and a trembling seizes me all over." Rafe took her hands. Her sweet delicate perfect hands. "I could shout it from the rooftops..." Rafe was off his chair and knelt down beside her, "...ask me anything my love and I will do whatever it takes to make you forever happy!"
