Kat got up and pictured a red bowling ball and some red shoes to match it. She walked up to the lanes and adjusted herself. "ok here goes nothing" she said as she rolled the ball down the lane. Lucy broke away from her conversation with Rafe and looked over Kat, who was bowling. Although Kat didn't get a strike, she still played very well.
"Hey, good job, Kat! It's okay, you'll get it next time!" Lucy said encouragingly.
She then noticed that Jule ahd joined them--she smiled radiantly at Jule and said,
"Hey, Jule, just in time!! It's your turn! Just picture yourself some bowling shoes and a bowling ball like ours" Lucy pointed to her bright pink shoes and ball,"
and then go ahead and bowl!! It's a lot of fun!"
But what Lucy was enjoying even more was talking to Rafe--if only they were alone...
