Rafe laughed and gave her a tight squeeze back. "Congrats Luce!" Rafe was astonished that she was able to knock all of them down, it took him awhile before he could do that even on a spare.

"This is so much fun! I guess Kat will be up next," Rafe smiled as he nodded in encouragement for Kat to bowl.

Rafe leaned back in his chair and looked at Lucy. "I can't wait until spring, then we can fly kites and all sorts of stuff outside. You never know, we could fish or something if you like!" Rafe laughed. "Perhaps we'd catch a mermaid or something!"
