Why was Evan suddenly at tense when he realised he was alone with Lyra on a date-like meeting? They were only friends hanging out casually... Nothing out of order. Nothing should be odd. Still, he wasn't that relaxed. Bad Evan! He was ready to go get two cups of Butterbeer when she stuffed some money. Evan rolled his eyes. Seriously. She wasn't allowed to pay. "Yeah right Lyra. And what made you think I'll take this money?" he asked, hmpf'ed and dropped her money onto the table. He then quickly walked to the bar, and handed the money first. "Two butterbeer please, and take all of it from here." he said as he held out the money. Just in case Lyra came behind saying "Take mine from this." He took the beer, and turned back to Lyra. Ha! And she thought she could beat Evan? Not. In. This. Life.
