Realizing how many people were at her heels, LouAnn glanced around the Entrance Hall nervously. The group that had gathered around her wasn't really that large, but under the circumstances, it seemed like just one was a crowd. She did managed to shoot Rafe a little smile. He was being so helpful and kind...he deserved that at the very least. She did let out a tiny laugh when he went on and on and on about pumpkins, too.

The talk turned serious again when Mr. Masterson spoke up. LouAnn nodded at his words but otherwise stayed quiet. Things would start happening soon. This would be the moment that she would either make it or break it. She'd either end up in the Forbidden Forrest or in Professor Kazimeriz's office. "I'm ready," she whispered, looking up at him with wide, fearful eyes. Why was she even being hunted in the first place? Wasn't what happened when she ten enough?
