The door to the potions room opened again and the shriveled, decrepit potions master entered the room, shuffling in slowly and depending on his cane for support. His eyes scanned the room, and he was pleased to see so many pupils setting up their equipment or already set up.

He arrived at the lectern at the front of the room.

"I see that the majority of you have managed to follow basic directions. Very good." His eyes moved from station to station, pausing on any students who were straggling.

"Let us get right to business. Potions ingredients can, by and large, be separated into two major classifications, based upon the source of the ingredient. Who here can tell us what the two major classifications for potions ingredients are?" He leaned upon the lectern, awaiting the students' answers.
