Amused by the dummy's praise, Silas smirked and gave a small fake bow, lowering his eyes from the dummy.
That turned out to be a mistake, because as soon as he looked up, teacups were whizzing by his head to assault his coworkers and a hot, steaming teapot was headed right for him. Eyes wide, Silas straightened up. Ignoring the tea cups - surely the others could take care of them - he narrowed his eyes at the approaching pot.
"Reducto!" He cried, jabbing his wand at the teapot, hoping for an explosion, and he quickly followed it with another shielding charm to protect himself and the others from shattering porcelain and spraying hot tea.
