What was he supposed to say? That Brody might have found someone else? That he, Fyo, had been wrong in his thinking, and Brody HAD been sorta evil? Oh my.

He was quiet for a second, sure that - whatever it was - it was definitely not Torin's fault. Not. In. The. Least. "There might be another reason," he said finally, realizing how lame he was at comforting other people, even his own best friend. "Maybe there's something that's bothering her... you -- you didn't get a chance to ask her?"

He bit his lip, suddenly falling silent, and looked up at Reese in a very "Help me with this, PLEASE!" way.
