Walking towards the stairs Marie just about ran into Kay who was demanding the truth about what happened with her and Lorcan.
"What do you mean I lied? I didn't lie to you about anything. I tripped over a blanket when I was running to catch up with you and I ended up falling in some mooncalf dung." 'That's what I get for knocking Lorcan over and making him fall face first into the poo' she thought as she smelled the poo she had on her own robes.
