"There are mason jars in the bag on my blanket. Help yourself."
LouAnn had been at this school for all of...
*mentally counts*...four and a half months, and she had one, just
one, question she was simply dying to ask...
...What was it with these people and
poo?!?!
It began in The Great Hall during the Start-of-Term feast. That had been when two boys, Cam Karsten and...that Hufflepuff boy---
Willie?---had paraded around to each and every table, splattering everyone in sight with the disgusting stuff.
Then there was the latest Astronomy class, the one that had been held in The Owlery of all places. The owls had, of course, dropped little presents all over the area Perry had chosen to hold class in. After they'd ice-skated, er---poo-skated, for a while, they'd made telescopes out of toilet paper.
...and now, here in Care of Magical Creatures class, they were jarring the stuff to give to Professor Bunbury. As disgusting as poo was, it had become a large part of LouAnn's first year here at Hogwarts.
Gross.

"Class dismissed."
...oh, oops! LouAnn had been so focused on all the poo-related activities here at Hogwarts that she'd not even started on jarring the mooncalf dung. She frowned at the little silvery specks decorating the ground then slipped her dragonhide gloves on. Gross, gross, gross, and more gross.
...then she had to hand deliver the stuff to Professor Bunbury?
"Oh, hi, Professor! Nice class today! By the way, here's you a nice jar of poo..." After making a little face, LouAnn started making her way around the area, scooping up more and more dung as she went along. When the jar was full, LouAnn grabbed her materials, waved goodbye to the professor, and headed back to the Common Room. She needed sleep, that was for sure!
...or a shower one.
