Jake looked towards the kitchen level corridor for a moment, and decided if Truebridge could tell him all that... Jake could reveal that nightmare. "I had this dream... Dead vivid, it were..." he started, looking down again. "Dreamt I killed someone... It felt... real..."
Jake was actually convinced it was real.
"You understand what it is to... react." Ethan responded with a small shrug. "And you understand what it is, specifically, to react in anger. Tell me Jake, have you ever seen me angry? Have you seen me lose control like I did in that story, and like you often find yourself doing?"
Truebridge followed Jake's glance down the corridor and then looked back at the boy when he spoke of his dream. A real dream? "Did you, in this dream, enjoy it?"
