Figuring he did NOT want to be in this class at all or anywhere NEAR that stupid evil plant, Jake backed right away, headed for the huuuuuuge tub of wands. If he couldn't have his one back he was taking another and going to sit down.

Reaching into the tub, Jake pulled out his hand with nothing in it at all, having decided he would live up... or down... to anyone's expectations of him.

And he wasn't going near that plant.

So Jake went back... further back than any other students. And he just glared at everyone and everything.
