The name sounded ridiculous much more than scaring to him. He simply nodded at Professor Bunbury's words as he walked towards the plant. ''Yes, yes professor, i know, i understand, you warned''he said though his tone stated the otherwise since he was still too busy with thoughts of 'How could someone within group of plants could be dangerous?'. She safely did it, so he could as well. ''Sit or bite?'' he repeated as he stood before it confidently ''Thanks, that's not the way i defend myself but i'm sorry that i cannot fight'' '...if there was any need to fight against a plant of course...' ''Hmm, only arm. Okay that should not be any problem. Should i start now?'' he asked blinking to the professor. "Glad to hear that," Bunbury remarked dryly, rolling her eyes for sure now. Duh. She was just WARNING him. The LEAST SHE COULD DO.
"Yes, you may start. One arm. Let the plant have it." She simpered fake-sweetly at the boy and waited for the Devil's Snare to start trying to amputate him. Quote:

"May I take a closer look at the Devil Snare, Professor?" Memory charms say whaaaaat? Bunz turned her head and raised a brow at Abby. Hmm. She had considered those in the past but having a few more scruples now and then, Anastasia hadn't actually performed one recently. And not on a student at all. Yet.
"Yes Abby, you may come closer to observe. Don't make any sudden movements yet though." The Gryffindork was first. Quote:

If you're whole body's like stuck in a great pile of Devil's Snare, and you're chillaxin' and all, would it still continue to slowly strangle you if you don't escape fast enough?" Because he just WANTED to jump in it and play with the plant. It looked so lonely. "No is the answer to that question, Cameron, the plant would let you go as long as you were still," the redhead answered quickly. "I mean, in theory, one could take a nap on the plant... though I wouldn't recommend it in case you twitch or turn over in your sleep..." or breathe too heavily or make loud noises or dream-walk and so on and so forth.
And she didn't mention that some varieties of Devil's Snare could be kind of... trained and bred to be more vile and unforgiving of their prey. Quote:

CURSE MY INCESIVE USE OF VOCABULARY!
POO.
Did it again... "Not that I know of, dear," Bunbury turned and flashed an evil smirk in the direction of the firstie. "I rarely hear about Muggle deaths, for one, and for another, how would the Muggle policemanofficers identify the cause of death? They certainly don't know what Devil's Snare looks like." Quote:

"Professor, where do you get stuff like this? I mean, is it regulated by the ministry?" And another good question. "Erm...." Bunz had to think fast to avoid hem-hawwing around this question too too much. "Yes and no? There's no division to regulate magical plants, herbs, fungi and such as far as I know in the Ministry, although the trade of certain rare seeds is regulated. But not Devil's Snare, naaah....." she trailed off into a short, awkward laugh before abruptly shutting up and turning her attention back to the plant.
